Spotlight On... Interviews with SRS racers
#1
On our team site – https://www.4funsimracing.com/ - we are starting a new section, “Spotlight on…”, where we will publish short interviews with SRS racers on their simracing activity.

Every Friday one more interview will be added, once a month the update will consist in two interviews at a time.

The first two interviews - Russell Sobie and Omer Kinay - are already online:

https://www.4funsimracing.com/2020/10/10...ell-sobie/

https://www.4funsimracing.com/2020/10/10...mer-kinay/

Let’s take a look at them since it’s very interesting stuff.

Thanks in advance to all SRS racers that kindly contributed to this!

Let the comparison between the first two drivers interviewed be a lesson kids: If you want to actually WIN races, you have to practice a bit more than than during a 10 minute qualifying session like I do! Big Grin

Hey it looks great! I was wondering if there's any quick guy on cheaper steering wheel like T150 or DFGT and here he is Big Grin Great thing, short and direct questions, but I see there potential for very detailed answers Big Grin Keep it up!

I agree, great reading.

Particularly interesting was the part about Russell often practicing in the quali. Hey Russell, does this ring a bell:
"Usually 5+ early in the week when people have literally never driven Car X on Track Y and figure "oh, I'll just figure it out during the race!". These people need to resist the urge to register for a race." Big Grin
It is of course obvious that you have things figured out and are not one of "those" people, but this was still a bit funny.

Michal: I also use a G29, and yeah it could be better but does its job. But if you need a wheel with (almost) enough buttons for ETS2 and ATS, there really isn't much choice...
