No, as stated on the instructions, VR users must join manually.

You will only use the app to register on a race, after that you can shut the app down.

insert this parameter on your launch parameters (on steam right click Automobilista 2, properties, launch parameters)

you can start the game normally as you would in VR and go to multiplayer, the server is going to be 1st on the list. (opens 3 min before the session time)


Hi, I'm following these instructions to try to join using my Oculus Quest 2. I have the above line added to my AMS2 Properties in Steam. I'm starting the game in Steam VR mode. When I get to the Multiplayer server list, I never see the SRS server in the list. I have been registering for the Lotus 23 series races, but have not yet been able to connect to any of them. Any thoughts or suggestions? Many thanks.


Same result, tonight, April 5th. I registered successfully for the Lotus 23 race in the SRS AMS2 App. I exited the App and went to Steam. I made sure I had the proper command line in the launch properties and started AMS2 manually in Steam VR mode. The game came up and I went to the Multiplayer list to look for the server. It never showed up in the list. I tried refreshing the list, no change. I tried re-starting the game, no change. Any help you can provide will be appreciated.
