Hi all
Can anybody help me out I’m wanting to join SRS for automobilista 2 but it won’t let me in as my steam username doesn’t match my SRS unfortunately I can’t change my steam username to match as I didn’t want my full name as my steam account and Srs only allows real name 
I didn’t have these issues with Assetto corsa app could someone help me out if there’s a way to do it

Sorry but I think it's not possible to try any other way, both usernames must be the same (just as Project Cars 2)

Ohh damm so all you guys running your real names as your steam names

It's very annoying for me too, but this morning I tried an AMS2 race and switched to my real name and changed it after. It seems Valve doesn't limit your name changes like other platforms like Blizzard

So how did you change your name on profile please

This link shows you how to change the profile name, which you can do as often as you like I think. So change it to your SRS name when trying AMS 2 with SRS

This isn't the same as the account name which is fixed.

Do you mean on Steam, right?

When you are watching your own profile on the Steam app, you can see a button on the up-right side to edit your profile.

There is a line Jason, and you just crossed it...

The steam profile name requirement is exclusive to PCars2 and AMS2 because it is the only way to enforce real names in those games.
It's not abitrary, it's a well known fact.

me podeis ayudar ,puse aplicacion y si tengo el nombre como en steam la aplicacion me registra pero no se inicia AMS2 ,CREO QUE PONE QUE SE HA DE BORRAR EL LOBY DE AMS2 ,ME PODEIS DECIR COMO ..
solo falta que me inicie ya que me deja registrarme gracias desde ya
