Thanks Russell, That does show at the bottom left but i literally, down loaded it 2 days ago from official CM page so how is this not the latest version. It is not the full version though would this make a difference? Just check and the version i have is not the same as you posted above it is version 0.8.2096.36316.
If you don't see this on the bottom left, make sure you have the latest version of Content Manager installed. Or... just do what I've been doing for about a year now: ignore the Join button and always use the server browser. It'll let you join the server sooner anyway.
