All Assetto Corsa users that experience problems with:

• Joining sessions
  • Join button doesn't show
    
  • Join button shows, tries to connect but shows lods.ini error or no slots available
    

must delete their launcher data folder at mydocs/assetto corsa and restart AC.


If registration was successful, users can join via AC multiplayer lobby (where you join any other server), just search 'simracingsystem'.


The AC apps were updated on 2020/03/21 00:00 UTC! if you have a previous version, download it again!

The join button will not work!

Note that the user must select the right server, the entry list can be seen by selecting the server.

What else gets deleted when you delete launcher data folder? Career? Custom championship? Also, What about launching threw CM/

Since there's a lot of freak-out going on right now on the forum and in the shoutbox, I will post some pointers from my own experience.

• Yes, really, go delete the [docs]\Assetto Corsa\launcherdata\ folder. This data is all temporary caches. It's fine. Nothing will explode. (Custom championships are not in this directory; they're in [docs]\Assetto Corsa\champs\).
  
• After you do this, you will need to open the SRS app inside AC's original interface at least once. This will regenerate a new launcherdata folder in place of the one you just deleted.
  
• Vehicle selection does work if you try to register through AC's original interface. So if you're trying to register for a race, and vehicle selection is broken for you in CM, just use AC's original user interface. It worked for us all before there was a Content Manager, and it will still work today. 
  
• As long as you have successfully registered for a race, you're good to go. You can open the SRS tab in CM and see that you are registered. You can also join the SRS server via the Kunos server list (use search filter "SimRacingSystem"). This should work from either CM or AC. If the race has multiple splits then you will need to join the correct server; you can guess this pretty accurately by finding where you are on the list of entries and counting down. Entries after about P23 will be on split 2; entries after about P46 will be in split 3, etc.
  
• You can still use Content Manager's Settings → Apps tab to enable the SRS app, manage other apps, etc. You should also still be able to use CM's Drive → Online → Kunos tab to search for, and join, the SimRacingSystem servers.
  

Let's all work with the admins and continue to provide constructive feedback and help this change through.

Thanks for the information. I would have three additional questions. Would be nice if someone can help.
1. The server are only listend when the 3 mins coutdown starts, right?
2. What happens if I miscount and try to connect to server 1 when I should connect to server 2?
3. From the looks of it, it is not always server1, server2, etc., cause I just had a race with only server5, server6, server7. So they do not need to start on 1, right?

1. The server browser allows you to join a race at any point the server is available to you (i.e. you've successfully registered for a race). You can join almost 4 minutes before the hour using the server browser.
2. It will say "there are no available slots" or something similar.
3. I think 5, 6, and 7 are servers that spawn when the previous race is still going... but I don't know for sure. If you know you registered successfully, just join all of them until one lets you in. I don't even know what tells you in the browser that you are listed or not (the price you pay for having a 700+ rating and are always on Server1).

5, 6 , 7 and 8 are for the 1hr races because of the overlap with the following race.

Firstly: everything works inside of Assetto Corsa's default UI. This post is only about troubles with Content Manager. For posterity, here's all the stuff I did to try to get it to work:

1. Uninstalled the AC apps completely.
   
2. Deleted the launcherdata folder in my Documents.
   
3. Downloaded and installed the latest AC apps.
   
4. Started Assetto Corsa (regular UI) and enabled the SRS app.
   
5. Logged into my SRS account.
   
6. Registered for the next race, and picked a car. No issues.
   
7. Quit Assetto Corsa (regular UI).
   
8. Opened Content Manager.
   
9. Went to live>SRS.
   
10. Refreshed the page to show that I was registered (although all car livery.png images were broken links)
    
11. Quit that race registration.
    
12. Clicked Register button for same race.
    

Expected: Car and livery selection. Ability to click on livery.png for the livery I want. Ability to click on "SELECT".

Result: Car and livery selection appears, but only white space is visible; no livery.png images to click on. Not possible to finish registration. Must still register within AC's default UI.



I realize that Content Manager isn't your thing, and I've emailed Ilja about the fact that you've moved over to https (I don't know if you guys are collaborating or what) in the hopes that he can make whatever adjustments are needed to get full registration working in CM.



For now I'm fine with registering inside AC and still starting with CM using the server browser. Hopefully the marriage of the two applications will reconcile eventually!

Seeing lots of js errors in select1.php and race4.php, with several 404s on assets like logos and vehicle images, and some errors on top.__AC.getDbValue and a couple of extra curly brackets floating around.
Hope that helps either Ilja or Henrique, but I'm sure they are aware already.

Yeah, me too. Because there might be some people out there who has too much mods installed so the default UI doesn't even load the game
