Much like the rules not spelling things out, unless I see Henrique say "I have a bunch of other people looking at these as well as me" I'm going to go under the assumption he's clicking every link for protests personally. I imagine if there are others, it's probably the folks doing the sponsoring for the youtube series that help police their own series and likely nothing else. That means randomcallsign knows about it because HE'S one of the other stewards.

I would go in line with increasing the number of stewards, though. 4-6 weeks is just too much to have any effect. I would say that it shouldn't be more than two weeks. Maybe have a public thread where people could apply, give selected few some test cases and decide if they'll fit the team or not. But than again, if Henrique really wanted to expand the number of stewards, chances are that we probably would.

Exactly. But I seriously doubt he's going to have any sort of application process, especially a public one.

And to end on "on topic" topic, great job in proposing rules adjustments, but I'm afraid that was probably an expected response. And the sad thing is that it's the most logical one.

I kind of disagree here. If he agrees that the rules compiled in this thread are better than the super vague and unenforceable text he's got on the regulation page he should just simply copy/paste what is in this thread over what he has there already with zero fanfare and call it a day. If people don't read what is there now, then they won't read what he pastes over it. So what? Put the better block of text up there for the 0.001% of drivers that actually DO read the rules before participating in an event and there's a non-zero sum chance that you might actually prevent an incident in the future. THAT's the most logical answer.

But on a more meta-analysis of the situation, likely why he won't bother is because of something I hinted at my last post: he doesn't implement suggestions in the suggestion forum, especially ones that have a lot of replies like this topic. If he does, every suggestion here would be filled with people bombing his inbox asking "well what about MY suggestion? You used HIS suggestion from last week, and MY suggestion is so much better!" That would be a real great way to want to run screaming from this entire endeavor, so ignoring all us idiots is probably just a way to maintain sanity.
