hello, I enrolled in the seat race at 11pm and I got that error when entering the server ... why? If I have downloaded the car and the circuit

you need to have the latest version.
delete the older folder before installing the new version.

Any chance you're out of sync on the Ford DTM car? I just downloaded his version 2.7 and got checksum error. He updated yesterday.

I just got the notification that the Sierra has been updated, but I did a race last night using the previous version so assume SRS have not updated their version yet.

For now go to the version history tab in RD and download the previous one (delete the car folder don’t just overwrite), you should then be able to join.

You can't expect a free service run by essentially one guy to be right on top of every little update a mod creator makes for their mod. Sure, ideally we wouldn't have a series using super-volatile mods. But we either get to use mods or we are stuck using stock cars/tracks only.

I'm not sure why you guys would ever automatically update a mod based solely on an update from RaceDepartment before getting notified here to do so. Maybe this is only obvious to me having been dealing with mods and servers in games since Quake 1. This is just how it works: Mod makers release an update. Server operators decide when (OR IF) to update the server. Clients only install the update when it is safe to play on their favorite servers. Rinse and repeat!

Oh sorry, Russel, you misunderstood me. 
I certainly do not criticize SRS, he does a great job. 
But the Sierra is very tired. This mod is updated so fast that I do not know which version is the right one. 
I like to drive the car and would like to go with it.

The correct version was released about 7-8 weeks ago, iirc right before the start of the last SRS season. The version released in last week or so is not on SRS yet.

Just uninstall the latest, reinstall 2.61. Enjoy the races until the end of the season. It isn't too late.
