DTM 90s - Donny MacGarry vs Plank Liveries vs Pollinflas
#1
After the success of our previous championship with the hypercars, Plank Liveries (Michael Martin), Pollinflas (Sergio Mendez) and myself are back with a new SRS championship on Monday nights at 8pm UTC. This time we decided to go with the DTM 90s cars. These were actually the first cars I raced on SRS back in 2018, so are quite nostalgic for me. I think they are great fun to drive and make for awesome racing as they can easily be driven side by side. We are also using a BoP that I know has been used successfully in the past, so these 3 cars should be all very balanced unlike the poor Porsche 918 Spyder from our previous hypercar championship. So don't be afraid to try all 3 cars out during the championship, they should all be viable to be able to compete at the top. Hope to see you all there and have some fun, competitive races.

The cars and BoP settings we have are:
● Alfa Romeo 155 TI V6 - Restrictor 25%, Ballast 20kg
● BMW M3 E30 Gr.A 92 - Restrictor 15%, Ballast 15kg
● Mercedes-Benz 190E EVO II - Restrictor 15%, Ballast 5kg

The schedule is
● 29th November - Week 1 - Sachsenring
● 6th December - Week 2 - Mugello
● 13th December - Week 3 - Donnington GP
● 20th December - Week 4 - Hockenheim GP
● 27th December- Week 5 - Vallelunga
● 3rd January - Week 6 - TT Circuit Assen Motorsport.

Our Youtube channels where we will be streaming the races are:

That error means that  some of your car or track files are different than those on server. Run Steam integrity check for AC to make sure your car files are in order. The tracks that you need for SRS are on this link: https://www.simracingsystem.com/showthread.php?tid=3164

The track was a mod but you were able to register meaning you have downloaded it and installed in the past. What I reckon is that you probably had an older version of the track. I would always double check that you have the most recent version of a track before each race you do. The latest version of Sachsenring is v1.09 which came out on the 16th October of this year.

The other possibility is that you don't own all the cars in the series. The BMW is base game content, but the Alfa and Mercedes was in the Dream Pack 1 DLC. You need to own all the cars in a race event to be able to take part in AC.

Thank you very much for your replys.
I have downloading all the AC DLC's, I have the Ultimate Edition but, like you recommend, I go to checking with Steam that all the files is ok.
Also I have dowloading the track of the list but surely I have downloading before 16th October. I will check this too.
I will check all the files and I hope can join with you for the next race.
Congratulations for the series and see you soon on the track.
Thank you very much again for your replys.  Wink

Next week's race is at Mugello, so no mods required so there shouldn't be any issues I hope.
Racing DTM 90s at Mugello was my first experience on SRS if I remember correctly, so its very nostalgic for me. Looking forward to it   Big Grin

Thank you to everyone who participated in the DTM 90s championship. Luckily for myself, I had some awesome races & memorable battles in these cars, and had a lot of fun overall. Overall the BoP balance was pretty good I felt, depending on the track. If a championship were to use these cars again with a BoP, perhaps the Alfa could be less nerfed on the top speed as it had a weak spot on the tracks with longer straights.

Congrats to Matteo Venuti on winning the championship, Rico Haas coming in 2nd and Jari Penttinen for rounding out the podium in 3rd.
