AC not launching

AC launcher not working, the main menu will not start. The game is shown as "Running" on Steam for a few seconds and then goes back to "Run" in Steam library. CM also is having problems, it will still launch race sessions only if I rename it into "Content Manager Safe.exe". Otherwise CM has the same behavior, nothing happens.
Any advice? |
