AC not launching - Roman Smirnov - 08-16-2020
AC launcher not working, the main menu will not start. The game is shown as "Running" on Steam for a few seconds and then goes back to "Run" in Steam library. CM also is having problems, it will still launch race sessions only if I rename it into "Content Manager Safe.exe". Otherwise CM has the same behavior, nothing happens.
Any advice?

AssettoCorsa.exe still not working.
Luckily I can access SRS through CM (Drive > Live > SRS). Had no idea this was a thing, now I don't need the official game launcher. However it would be nice to understand what went wrong.

Go to " ...\steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\changelog.txt" . Edit the first line to something older than 1.16.4 and see if that helps
try 1.15 or 1.16.3 should work.
