Sometimes people just don't sign up. The biggest turn outs are for the big Youtube series races for both Europe and the Americas, and then daily race times that are European primetime. If you are trying to sign up for a race around now (I see your post was up 14 minutes ago as I type), then North America is still in bed and most of Europe is still at work.
I usually race in my mornings before work which is 2 hours from now and those daily races usually fill 1.5 servers... so if you can wait a couple of hours, you can race me in the Audis.
