You can't expect a free service run by essentially one guy to be right on top of every little update a mod creator makes for their mod. Sure, ideally we wouldn't have a series using super-volatile mods. But we either get to use mods or we are stuck using stock cars/tracks only.
I'm not sure why you guys would ever automatically update a mod based solely on an update from RaceDepartment before getting notified here to do so. Maybe this is only obvious to me having been dealing with mods and servers in games since Quake 1. This is just how it works: Mod makers release an update. Server operators decide when (OR IF) to update the server. Clients only install the update when it is safe to play on their favorite servers. Rinse and repeat!
