none of those threads are conclusive....what IS the limit here? 2 tires on the rumble strip? 2 tires on the white line? I have never been one to take liberties but it would be good to have a clear ruling on this topic from Henrique as we have seen people get banned for things like this on their first offence. If we all know the rules we can teach the new guys and prevent people from getting banned and racing like jerks...this is a community we need to be here to help the new people and encourage each other to make these races as clean, fair and fun as possible. @simracingsystem

Riley, if you really want to protest against me for this, go for it. I'd rather not be suspended for something that isn't clearly defined. I simply race within what is allowed by the penalty system. If it makes you feel any better, and the general consensus around doing this is negative, I'll stick to the kerbs.

It seems harsh to enforce a rule with so much grey area with a ban...If we could get a clear definition of track limits it would be hugely helpful in preventing frustration on many fronts. So what is it? I have always believed the rumble strip is the track limit. So as long as there are 2 tires on the rumble strip you are good...this should not really be a divisive / controversial issue...its straight forward. Just clearly define the rule, communicate it and people who want to race fair (aka 99% of us) will adhere to it. It will prevent pissing matches / drama in the future for sure if the rule is clearly defined and communicated.

General rule is to keep at least 2 tires on the track, the grey stuff. The green astro is already meant to slow you down so 4 wheels beyond that is clearly off limits.

The rules are apparently purposefully vague so as to allow administrators/stewards the ability to rule in any way they see fit based on protests alone. I'm not a huge fan, but that's how it has been since I've been on here, and for the most part it hasn't been a huge issue.
I race how I think I should be racing and anyone that wants to drive in the track's parking lot in an attempt to get a faster apex, they can go for it. I'm fairly sure that the fastest laps recorded on SRS for RBR are from guys who keep 2 wheels in at all times.
However, the second someone takes me out because of them going that far off track and then expecting me to not take up the same space at the apex because I took a tighter line.... well, that person gets a protest filed against them.
