I cleared all the apps I use normally and forgot to put the pedals one back on before recording. Easy enough to enable next time though.
Replays don't show KERS which is a bit annoying. I used about 30% out of The Loop/through Aintree, 30% out of Luffield, about 20% through Chapel curve and the last 20% out of Club. You get more benefit using it at low speed to accelerate faster so I prefer to split it up more over the lap. In the race though I was using it to overtake and defend so I sometimes used it all in one hit.

Nice, thanks for sharing! I'll definitely try your setup for the next race in the FW31! You carried so much more speed through Abbey and Copse!

Very cool. I always tell myself to memorize the names of the corners, but I always blow it off (usually when one or more corners is something not in English I can't wrap my mouth around). It seems like the word association tricks to tell you HOW you are supposed to drive through the corner is the part that might be the most helpful for actual racing. Otherwise I think it might just be helpful if you want to actually do commentary and sound like you know wtf you are talking about.
I also like that you discuss the concept of finding the limit immediately and dialing it back. While yes, it is a sim so you don't have to worry about getting hurt (or going bankrupt) I think with experience in the car itself it's probably faster overall to start dialed back and push forward into the limit. While you can just stay out there recovering from a full spin, you will be able to pull more laps quicker by always making them until you don't. If you are learning both the car and the track, it's a wash... or possibly just easily faster to start full and dial back.
I look forward to future vids.
