You don't deal with passwords in SRS.
The app starts raceroom and when in the main menu (1 second or 2) the game will connect to the server.
If this doesn't happen, something is wrong with your launch parameters.

I run a third party dash and this is my launch option -webdev -webHudUrl=https://otterhud.github.io/
I do not run VR, I guess I am confused on what Note 4 means

all launch options must be in your RRE cmd field and not on Steam, otherwise you won't enter the server.
