Lotus 3-Eleven

This is the setup I've been using for Road America. I just did a race where I managed 7 of 10 laps under 2:09. The setup is based on one I found at Racedepartment. I hope it can help some of you.

Thanks for sharing Steen.

Tyre pressures seem a bit off - or is this deliberate, as sub 2.09 is good?

It might very well be off. It's an attempt at keeping temps at ideal, but I have never figured out whether temps or pressure is most important. Tongue

Ah - ok, makes sense as I always worked on keeping pressure constant...

It seems you are a very fast driver, even with your setup I couldn't beat my 2.11.28 set with my own setup.

My understanding is that pressure is way more important than temp in AC. But I have no idea where I got that understanding. It might be bias created by the fact that getting pressure in the ideal window is trivial compared to getting temp there. Big Grin

I'm sure you're right. So the next question is: What's the ideal tire pressure? Huh

I've not looked into this myself yet but isn't there a hidden file somewhere in AC that has the idea tyre pressures? I heard about it from a series of videos Chris Haye did on his You Tube channel about car setup. Here's the link he posted in the video description https://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index...ure.44697/

Yesterday i used Steen's setup, and i set the pressure to those values:

LF: 22 psi         RF: 24 psi

LR: 21 psi         RR: 22 psi

I managed to do a 2:08.3 in practice
