They could also give us the opportunity to decide if we want to take part in a championship or just race for rating in this series at the beginning of a new season. But then there could be incidents where someone who is fighting for the championship gets bumped off track by someone who isn't. Just an idea...
But I think it would be better solution as suggested above. daily series just for rating and weekly series for championships!
