Hahaha Wreckfest is actually much better than you think for clean and close racing if you can find the right servers. Demolition derbies are also helpful to blow off some steam after a tense SRS race

I agree that a realistic damage physics model in a sim could probably lower incidents and help reduce aggressive behavior given that all drivers have some kind of a general racing awareness.
