I think the 1-hour races have mandatory pitstop. When the pitlane is open you get a message on the top of the screen, with a countdown. Yesterday the pitlane was open for 10 minutes at around half of the race. You need to stop and at least add 1 L of fuel (I added fuel and changed tires).
