Its not very clear on how to install this app. There is already a file in my root folder called launcher, do I delete this file before placing the launcher file from the srs app or do i merge them together.

do not delete anything.
extract the file to your AC root, it will ask to overwrite and say yes.

Since many ppl is having problems installing the AC app, here's some help (i think):
1. download the zip file at the 1st page of this tjhread,
2. unzip it and paste the "SRS" folder (only this folder)here: E:\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\launcher\themes\default\modules
3. enable the SRS app ingame options and thats it
register on a race before it reches the 5min mark then wait till it reaches 3min mark and join.
remember to have all the content (car/track) needed to participate that race

I registered for an event and then noticed that my app was showing that I was the only registered driver.
Proceeded to the practice and qualifying laps (perhaps other drivers would join).
Then when the race time starts I see a message saying that there was no connection to the server.
Any thoughts on what I need to do to fix this?

Little question: the ajax update thing, how does it work?
Does it refresh the page every x seconds or does it update when someone registers for the race?
