quick question. Im new to this and wonder about one thing. On servers, its says: TC: 1 ABS: 1 and TC: 0

Does this mean that I can put my TC/ABS on what value I want ? or is it on 1 ?

1 = on ?

1 means factory settings, which is no ABS. TC you can put some on the 458 (higher value is less TC)

Congrats Alex on the championship.
Enjoyed this series, wonder what Mark has for us next.

PS. Also learnt the hard way how SS drop off with no warning.

Cheers Michael, it will be more of the same mate, want to do a full 6 rounds in the Ferrari, so the circuits will change but not the car.

Cheers mate, Mark aka AussieStig

You did go with the supersoft in race?!

They burst in flames about 10 minutes in. Doable for quali though, just not much difference with the soft, maybe 0.2/0.3s

Looking forward to it. Hopefully I can make all the rounds this time.
I thought as I could keep the temps under control they should last. I got to the Porsche curves on lap 4 and they just let go. At least I know for next time.

It's race night Smile

RE: AussieStig Ferrari 458 GT2 Series - Alex Leif - 09-13-2018

Well after some frantic cpu cooler related issues I have ended up back on the stock cooler and system seems stable again, in good time for the race Smile
That is why I disappeared from the DTM race last night, system just powered off as CPU hit 90 degrees. :o

Edit:

Well that was a fantastic race, so glad I fixed my PC in time, very enjoyable way to take my 100th SRS victory (took 802 races to get there) Big Grin

Thanks all, see you next time!

Leif.

Nice milestone Alex

No Mark?

I had a crap race. Dive bombers and cheaters!
Kurt i'm sorry for tapping you. Because of the car in front i had to go on the grass. When i hit the brakes there wasn't the grip to stop. I had started braking all the way back on the grass.

Hey Michael, sorry mate, couldn't make it today, other commitments meant i was too late. Great to see a full house though. The Ferrari 458 GT2 is such an awesome car, glad to see everyone supporting the new ENCORE Series. I am busy preparing for the SimRacing Expo in Germany this weekend. If any of you are there and spot me, come up and say G'Day. Cheers, Mark aka AussieStig
