the error you describe should only happen if you were executing the SRS.exe at
Game\x64\SRS.exe
instead of
Game\x64\SRS_RRE\SRS.exe

Was using my R3E username (DanielAu2) rather than my profile name (Daniel Yeaman) and now it works.
