I just received notification on RaceDepartment that the FIAT Tipo touring car mod has been deleted, with no explanation from the author. 
However Fuzo from TMM has a post at the end of the discussion tab in which he shows that the suspension setup for the Tipo seems identical to the Skoda Octavia, so this may be the beginning of a debate about the FIAT mod's origins.
Shame, because I really enjoyed that car.
Oh well.

Yeah, I saw that and I had the same assumption based on that screenshot comparison. I have no idea how to mod anything but the looks of a car in AC, but I'm guessing it'd be possible to do a simple diff on a few files to see if someone just ganked something from somewhere else?

Yeah, the full version of Content Manager even has a built-in tool to do just that, but it's easy to fool it by changing stuff by 0.001 and making it "just different enough". I don't know enough about modding to throw any stones at anyone, but this is all a bit too weird to me. I enjoyed this car a lot when it was on SRS but it had some serious issues; the idea of a "premium version" seems... premature? Just another mod drama to keep an eye on, I guess.
