#1
I just played the 911 GT race at Mosport, 4 grids. I was put in grid 2.
My rank was 606 or something going into the race.
Theres a bunch of people in grid 1 with ranks of 400-550.........
whats going on?

Dunno. My ~730ish rank got into server 1 no problem. I also registered like 3 minutes before deadline, although my understanding is that that doesn't matter at all. Maybe there's something amiss with the algorithm?

You position in the servers is mostly set by your success in the series, not so much your rating overall. If you haven't run in the series yet you have 0 points where others have 50 or more and that can give them a bump ahead of you even if your rating is hundreds more.

No one has. It's the first race of this series this season, isn't it? Oh wait no... there were 3 splits yesterday. I'm guessing everyone lower than 606 probably already got a race in? I can't be bothered to check because 1) I don't care... my 700+ rating is bulletproof and 2) I can't middle click on people's name on this website to open a new tab. Big Grin

oooh right. I thought it simply put everyone in order by rank and then assigned to server accordingly. obviously i assumed wrong!
