Fiat Tipo setup
#1
Hi everybody! I'm a rookie in AC and SRS. I've had watching Fiat Tipo race in Zandvoort and practising but I find the car too unstable braking. What setup are you using for this car? Can I download it from any web?
Another question about Fiat Tipo. Is there any way to get showing data (fuel, speed...)? It appears switch off.
Thak you all and sorry for my English.

I don't drive this car, so i can't give you direct feedback.
But you should take a look at this:

Hi Carlos,

you may try to reduce the rear wing to 0 and tweak the brake balance from default (62%,, I guess) to upfront (65%-70%, according to your driving style) and reduce a little the braking force (97-98%) if you're still experiencing oversteering or spins. Doing this the car should be more stable while braking.

Also try to brake softer and avoid (in Zandvoort at least) to pass on curbs while braking or accelerating.

This will get you, if not the best times, a little more speed and better handling of the car. When you feel more comfortable, you may try to alter camber and toe to get better performances (I'm still working on this Smile).

Best,
Gianluca

Thanks Gianluca!
After 150 laps (more or less) and trying everything I got my best lap: 1:50.486. At least, the car is easy to drive now.

De nada, Carlos!

This is just the beginning: I started my first laps on 1.50.5 (but I already managed to drive the car for a week in Donington), and after few days of practicing (learning the track is essential) I was able to trim more than 2" (1.47.5 now). Not one of the best times in comparison with the most skilled players, but fast enough to have fun racing.

I'm not a hardcore racer, only decent, but if you want some more tips feel free to write me a private message.

Best,
Gianluca

Here is my setup for the FIAT at Zandvoort. I believe it's basically the same as the one I ran at Donington.
