Guys, am I the only one having problems with this car? I am trying 50% off the brake and the car just doesn't hand well enough, always spinning and losing the rear in the process

The rear is very loose, especially under acceleration.

I haven't done any sim racing in probably over 18 months. I've got a new baby who takes a lot of my time and 10pm GMT seems to work best for me. I look at SRS and see that the Ginetta series is the only one running at that time and have a look on the forum for info about the series.
From the comments here about the car I was really thinking sod this, I'll just wait a week and see what's on next season. The car sounds like a pig to drive and really wasn't what I wanted for my first race back. Concerned about wrecking the field enough as it is without uncontrollable cars. Glad I gave it a go though, the car is beautiful! Easily one of my favourites in AC. I don't know what the fuss is about. I only got 11th in the race. I also spun out from 7th after a few great first laps, leaving me facing the wrong way and with no camera look left/right mapped had to just wait for the whole field to go by before turning round. But I think that's more to do with me being out of practice and uncompetitive. Here's what I liked about the car:

It's an amazing car for sure. You just need to learn how to drive it.
Welcome back by the way. Thought I hadn't seen you around.

Thanks Michael, hope to get back in almost as much as I was before. I moved into a house I completely gutted and rebuilt (floors, walls, ceilings, heating system, electrics, kitchen, bathroom etc.), then had a baby who's now 11 months old. Just starting to carve some time out for racing again now. Luckily my wheel and pedals and computer survived living in a shed for 18 months. Good to see you're still about.

Hello Guys
At the beginning of the series it also cost me a bit to get hold of this car ... too understeer at the beginning ... have you tried to correct the convergences? .... In my case, it is enough to move from a positive convergence in front of as it comes by default to a negative and backwards ..... from negative to positive ...... the change was that it was no longer so understeer and much more docile and stable at the curve entrance .... I love car behavior .... Good job Shaun |
