The youtube video is recorded using a client called "SRSTV" which joins the race on server 1, and broadcasts the video. That client is just like any other client: it must restart the client when it receives an updated skin. So if you had JUST updated your skin, the race you are currently in will not show the updated skin on the broadcast. You will have to wait until the SRSTV client sees in again in the future.
