trouble getting into AC races

3 of past 4 races after registering (content manager), when i click the 'join' button, I get an error saying I don't have the lods.ini file....but for a car not chosen to race with.   Can't join race and end up with penalty points for not racing after registering.  Trying to race the M3 at Spa in the weekly race specifically, haven't tried others yet.  Anyone know what's going on?

delete the launcherdata folder at mydocs/assetto corsa

you can always join by regular AC lobby just search 'simracingsystem' and the right split

FYI I deleted the folder, ran a couple races successfully, but just encountered the same problem again. The launcherdata folder had been deleted.
