How many races I've thrown away for stupid reasons?
#1
Hey. We were chatting in Discord about how your cats can ruin your race. Simracing is very hard cause you need to practice, do setups, to be focused in races. I've thought it could be funny to share our terrible experiences about losing wins, podiums, points... because of different comical (or not) issues can happen around us when racing. Do you want to share any of that "experiences"?
Thanks! Big Grin

It's important to say that this evening I won my first SRS race ever thanks to your cats. I am in debt with them. Miau.
Last week I had got a 3 years old nephew pushing away my right arm and demanding "i want, i want" while racing Evora in Donington Park. A cat unintentionally helped me distracting the kid.
I must paint a cat in my livery.

Qualified 2nd. Got 1st before first turn, ran 20 minutes in front. Ran out of fuel in the last turn, finished 11th.

First race after 2 weeks of stop, started sixth, I find myself second and for two mistakes I go down to third place. At the end of the penultimate lap,
I run out of fuel and have to pit, I finish sixth. It could have been a fantastic podium for me

I don't have a proper rig... My PC is on a normal office table and also the wheels are attached to it. This table is the kind that have storage that leans on the wall and rise to 7-8 feet high. I store my helmets on the top of them. You can already see this coming... I was racing, strong FFB, shaking table and storage... I was leading a GT3 race at RBR and boom! Instant black out! One of my helmets fell on my head, knocked my senses for a few seconds, like someone punched me. I looked at my monitors and my car is stuck at the wall of turn 1. Looked at replay and happy I didn't hit anyone... Lesson learned. Never again. LOL
