I mean, it's not against any rules, but it's common sense that you don't use something which has somebody's name on it. But at the end of the day, it doesn't really matter. I don't believe there's any ill intent behind people using someone else's skins. Like you've said, people like what they see and just use it. And I can be OK with that, as long as they are not sharing them on third party sites, or making money of it.(02-26-2019, 10:23 PM)Igor Relja Wrote:I think there are many ppl who don't realize certain skins are private. except......when somebody else uses your skin in a race, nothing you can do about it, maybe put PRIVATE SKIN in the preview.
Yes, that could be a problem, but do such kind of people exist?
It's a bit dick move to just use somebody else's skin without asking. Doesn't matter if it looks good or not, somebody still spent their time to make it, and you could at least ask or let the author know. But nothing you can do about it. After all, if you want to parade around in a car with my name and flag on it, who am I to stop you
Back on topic: tutorial would be nice. I think I personally have technical aspect covered (artistry is another thing ), but I'd love to see how some other people are doing it.

I'll make a new thread when it's finished but this is where i'm up to. Still a long way to go.

Thanks for the Link. I'll look into it.
*Problem i keep having is i keep looking back and think do i need to add that lol. (how to copy and paste logos etc)
So far, concept looks good. But I would like to see how you approach painting lines. Like these yellowish around the doors and headlights. Do I have to hold my cat while I'm painting or...? And other thing I would like to see is how to get nice wavy line which follows car edges. Like these on the Merc. I mean, there has to be better way than using small brush and painting it by hand over wireframe. Right? Right?
