Well, the results so far shows that the Alfa Romeo has the victory in all races, except one race (the first). Just worth to mention :-)

I don't know if Mugello is that bad for Alfa, it sure is not it's best track but it's still plenty fast and easy to drive. An E30 is not easy to drive on any track not even Mugello. I might try do the series with only E30 this time but it depends how much annoying the Alfas will be on race starts and with their "AWD plowing bumps". Most Alfas go totally bonkers and want to win in lap 1 no matter what. Also because not many people drive RWD the Alfas expect you to have an AWD Alfa like race line and brake points but with RWD cars you DO NOT, they fail to brake earlier when behind RWD or realize that you're not gonna go flat out through that corner as they are able to with AWD, so they bump you off track. It's an inexperienced driver issue, being too aggressive and not adapting to following a car that is different than their own that drives differently.

Oh well scratch the "inexperienced": https://youtu.be/__INWnx2DhY?t=7m32s
This is what should happen to the Alfas after they rear end poor RWDs. If only AC, if only it would realistic damage.

The Alfa can still do sub 2:00 if you set it right. And I didn't punch under 2:00 with E30 in race, too heavy, too risky.

So I tried the Alfa for lolz, no problem to get under 2:00, grip in fast corners is same or even better than E30 DTM because Alfa can have much softer springs. Sure the weight balance is annoying on Alfa as is on Merc but other than that it has plenty power, grip and braking advantage to put down equal or even better times using equal effort by mechanic and driver. And it's still way easier to drive and setup than E30.

Medium tyres E30 I did 1:59.583 and easily closing in with Alfa I don't drive much at all or have existing good sets for I did 1:59.800 again on medium tyres, weather is set same/similar as SRS uses. Given another hour and a few more laps I would match the E30 with Alfa.

The embedding seems OK when adding editing post but finished it's broken, no idea why, some SRS issue.

Here is an onboard of my qualification lap with BMW M3 E30 DTM @ Mugello - 1:59.593:

There is still plenty left to gain but not much for me with my hardware setup.

BTW is the YouTube embedding working on SRS or is it broken to view for you as well?

Black screen that is unplayable in your post, but above in my reply quote while I'm editing it, it looks fine. Definitely something amiss there.

Ok thanks.

Alfa drivers, please do not try and bump me off track side by side before T1, watch your sides. My E30 doesn't start as fast off the line as your Alfa but I can keep by your side quite fine usually, make sure you have a clear overtake before you try to change lines.

SRS ranking broken again, puts me on server 2 when there are fast people including a friend Mitja I wanted to race with despite having so far still fastest lap time and fastest race time... come on SRS learn to put people on the correct servers based on actual performance.

Overall ranking, won 2 races and now I have no wins in the championship ranking, yep not broken at all. 1 win on server 1 pole to 1st, 2nd win on server 2 pole to 1st. I guess SRS needs some updating in how it's counting things or provide better explanation for these championships as to how the points are actually done.

Dude. First race of a series is based on your ranking, and as talented as you appear to be, your rating is still super new. And then after the first race, it is heavily biased towards your championship points for that series. So yeah, you aren't going to have a super high point value since you had to start on a lower server (you get more points for position on lower numbered servers, as I'm sure you've picked up on). Can you please just give it some time before you want this place to up end everything to serve your desires? I mean, I get it... how they rank servers is a bit odd and ideally servers splits would be done based solely on performance. But that isn't how it is, and that's how SRSAdmin likes it, and every post you make complaining about these things just makes you look like an abrasive, entitled brat. So much so that he might not make any changes just to spite you! Big Grin
