Just came 3rd and I was over 2 seconds off the pace of the top two guys, and the first of those was in the BMW. Most of the rest of the field is at least 4 seconds off the pace per lap so not really representative of the cars pace, more the driver. Only when you get within the limits of the car, will you see the true comparison. And in this case it was only about 2 tenths advantage in best lap time to the Alfa driver, but he could not get the lead still.
So it is at least possible to win in the BMW!
I ve even seen a SGC making top 5 in split 1 once, which is the joke car on public servers nobody wants, so really anything is possible
