It's still "two wheels inside the white lines" though, right? I think this is more speaking to where those white lines are considered to be. There are tracks that have kerbs that are a car's width wide or more, but putting all four wheels on that is off track assuming the white line (edge of the track) is not actually in the kerb.
I know different orgs have different rules on how many wheels you have to keep in... I'm just wondering if this is a case of me being ignorant of real world racing on just about every level.
