I think you just put it in the same folder with your name on it. That should override whatever helmet shows up on your driver. I think. I've only done one helmet... and it was for the Dallara. "Helmet_2012.dds" went right in my russell_sobie file and it worked fine.

Of course, my Dallara skin specifically does NOT have a skin.ini file. So maybe you need to nuke that file too?

thanks for your reply. I tried to put the helmet.dds just in the skin-folder. And it did not appear ingame.
After that I found the skin.ini and find out that I can point it to the mentioned helmet-directory.

Then the helmet apperears in game, but it was not uploaded to SRS.

So both things do not seem to be correct.

Is there an official information which files where uploaded by the skin-transfer app?
