Porsche 935 Moby Dick @ Fuji68 GP

Couldn't get rid of the underbody constantly hitting the track, so I'm not totally satisfied with the setup, but it handles that bumpy road well enough.

I managed a steady 01:44:xxx at 97% grip and 27° track temperature.

i gave it a try, i found it way too stiff on the rear, it's a bumpy track!

with lower 3 and 4th gear ratios, no rear antiroll, 1 click of more front sospension, at 100% grip and 30c temp, after 4 laps at 1.42.X i did 1.41.6 , and 1.40 isn't a mirage, it's way easyer to drive (more understeer), but the baseline is good.

and a hint for who will join the server without trying, or will try today, lift off/just to do a click on the breakes before T1 or you will not make it!

see you on track, to all get smashed by Giuseppe, he will do 1.3X for sure Smile

I had the feeling that the stiff rear helped me turn ;-)

I will definitely give your input a try, thanks!

1.41 was a good time at the end the race, shame it was the last race, it's a very nice car, the problems were the too big amount of contacts..

hope to see it more in the future, or the Can-Am monster, how bad will be a race with the 917/30 in SRS? Big Grin

shame i cant do the USA race because of work trip, and the crash point from Monza which wasn my fault (punted from rear and dive bombed in Parabolica) the overal top 3 was very near

shame that Lemans crashed, on Lemans an Monza ai was very happy with car but in Japan i wasnt able to hold the tempo but no mistake and finaly without minus points for contact

great car on some great tracks

That was the last race? Nooo. I thought were would be another one.

This car defintely needs a series with more races. The slot with friday, saturday and sunday would be great.

at Le Mans it was at home, felt this car was made for that track, even if it's a game.

punting was a normal thing with this car, 5 of 6 races i did get punted on start/t1/t2 , people just push the throttle and no brake.. this is not how to enjoy this car, wich is all about throttle management

i searched in old series, there was a series with the 917K, 600hp, what a snail, i mean this car:

"The 917/30 was the most powerful sports car racer ever built and raced. The 5.374-litre 12 cylinder (90.0 x 70.4 mm) twin-turbocharged engine could produce 1,580 bhp (1,180 kW) in qualifying tune"

only 2 and a half more HP Big Grin

I wouldn't mind a 917 K series either :-)
