Good Job!  I love the locking casters on the desk chairs.

Now, strictly between me and you and don't tell anyone Wink  ... but last week when I was trying to figure out what went wrong with my G27 stuff, I clamped the bits to a table and put the pedals on some carpet ... and pulled over my desk chair to pick and poke at the electrical innards.  Every once in a while, I'd turn it on and it was OFF TO THE RACES with me hanging on the wheel for dear life and my butt and feet going in (mostly) opposite directions.

AT my age, I could break a hip doing that ... so I'm better off wrapping the Logitech in a cats cradle of steel.

By accident of design, my rig will stand on its nose.  Although I used steel tube, it's really not very heavy.  The MGB seat I'm using does fold forward (as if the MGB is a 4 place automobile Rolleyes ) , and the screen is very easily removed ... I suppose I could stow it in a closet if necessary.

Id love to have a real car seat like yours Ted. The seats from my old focus would have been perfect. So comfortable.

The one drawback with these casters is the do roll very easily. Especially when you have a cat jumping on or off lol.

I use an armchair. It's what I had nearby and loads more comfy than a Recaro seat eh. Got the wheel and pedals for £100 from eBay and knocked up the stand (or contraption as my wife calls it) from spare timber in an hour or so. Does the job although it's in my living room and not dedicated or anything.

I clicked on first link and thought "Yikes... that's gotta be all the way across the room from his display... is he using VR? His FOV is going to suck!" then clicked on the second and my reaction was "....Oh."

Need to leave a walkway for wife and dog Russell. I'd recommend a projector to anyone really. Cost me about £450 a few years ago and better than any flat screen I've seen.

Too many worries with bulb replacement for me. Also I wouldn't have the room anyway. Probably in about a year I'm going to upgrade to a house from my nice (but relatively small) apartment, and then I'm going to dump a couple of grand on whatever it will take to allow me to have triple screens again AND a regular gaming computer at a desk in the same residence.

And then you will all be jealous of my complete lack of self control awesomeness.

At over 9,000 hours on this bulb and have a £38 replacement when it does go. That's about 6 hours a day for 4 years so if the bulb blew tomorrow it would cost about £0.004 / hour in bulbs.

Dedicated triple screen sim rig like that would be pretty awesome. And a motion sim thing. And direct drive wheel... Can easily spend too much on this ha
