i just ran 25 laps in the williams. Haven't tried the ferrari yet and won't waste my time learning it    Might be better, don't know. 
Softs will last 20 mins, i think its burning about 3.8L fuel/lap.   Best lap was 1.19.7 on first hotlap, starting with 50L fuel. So that's the benchmark minimum pace to be 'fast'.

have to say this cars feels pretty broken
maybe its just too modern for me but the feel you get from wheel and overall behavior is just horrible

well, they're ASR cars

These cars feel even worse than usual asr broken cars, like a piece of rubber on a stick. Its incredibly frustrating to drive this, locking wheels with 30 % brake pressure, spinning the rears with minimal throttle, very violent behaviour with minimal steering input, the setuping seems broken as usual. So it seems like another season off for me, just watching the massacre on stream.
