Hello all,

I have recently run into an issue in SRS races that has confused me. In my most recent race I went through quali without any incidents or mishaps, and when I was lined up at the start I was looking through my car setup. I realized I had left TC and ABS turned on, so I turned both off and waited for the lights to go out. 

However, when they went out I was transported to the pits for a penalty, and then had my controls locked for 40 seconds. Perhaps I did something I am not supposed to, but I was super confused as to why I got this penalty.

I was hoping somebody here could help fill me in as I am new to SRS.

I think that if you have not pressed start before the lights appear, it puts you in the pits.

Ah I see, that very well could have been the issue. The already mentioned changes I did to the ABS and TC were quite last minute, and maybe I forgot to press drive.

Yes, it's probably the case. It happened to me too in the past.

Yeah, I think you have to be ready on the grid 10 seconds before.
