I think i shouldn't get myself involved here, but i love to punish myself so i gonna reply about Glucose home building (joking) 
First, it isn't your meta car that you pick for "top person said get it and do X and Y".
This car requires a lot of trying and testing in practice to find fun in it. I drive this car through AC GT3 Euro and i don't complain, it is fun choice for mid-field racing.
It have fuel hungry engine, but thing is, if i wasn't greedy dumm dumm, then i would without problem finish the race, it is possible, just take full load, survive few laps calmly and observe the players (quite good to do so) and actually hit empty spot to do YOUR pace, good idea is to pick app for fuel, or do some training with 200% to know when default assetto fuel bar is in your "danger zone" and pit it, don't risk it like me (i'm pretty sure 30 mins of race is spot to do pit with this car, it takes time to pit so extra distance for you, also remember such races, especially on mid-field, is more about just driving and not doing mistakes than going for insane laps). Also you can try do 2 pits with more softy-med tires, but then you really need to do good setup to take advantage, i'm not knowledgeable enough to do such thing :|
With right setup this car can give you survivable pace and give few controllable fun corner exits without going seppuku into sand/grass (again, test your setup).
Thing is if you picked this car for "I wanna win" then No, this isn't car for you. I picked it mostly to be different and learn about car i don't know exist and have some fun, rest of GT3 cars are well known and """boring""".

I gonna say it straight, i'm playing Assetto Corsa on Game pad... on directional pad. I'm masochistic, nostalgic idiot that can't forget muscle memory from many Gran Turismo 1, 2 and 4 races. I'm driving in various skins i made.
