Hmm... I'll have to check when I get home. I'm pretty sure I've seen other skins in car selection, but frankly I couldn't tell you for sure if the actual skin files made it in game for me. You see, I normally don't see many other cars during the race because I'm so far out in front of the pack*.
*lol I wish.

It downloads everyones skin and says everything is right but it doesnt download the actual skin.dds file just the livery preview and livery icon but not the actual skin, have had it happen before but not to this extent out of 18 skins that got downloaded only 8 got downloaded properly with the dds files.
Yep same for me, noticed it first with Pete Parisettis slick scottish skin only shown in the streams but not in my game.
At least I get to see Mr. Sobies nice creation
but most of the skin folders, as Fredrik said, are missing the .dds file.

I have 9 custom skin folders in my skip barber directory, and 3 of them don't work. So something happened to them at some point. The skip barber skin is a bit odd in that by default it doesn't contain the usual skin.ini and ui_skin.json files that most other skins include. But I have skins that function on my client that also don't include those files, so it doesn't seem like that's it either.
Not sure!
Here's the list of skins that are not functioning for me that I have folders for. I'm going to delete them and see if a re-download of them fixes it:
Luis Mondedero
Mike Blaze
Pete Parisetti

Yep, something wrong with Pete's skin. I redownloaded it from a recent race after deleting the folder and it's still borked.
I have noticed something different in recent downloads for other drivers which is a "date##########" folder inside the skin folder. But I have these inside all the custom skin folders, the ones that work and the ones that don't work alike. I'm not sure if this is special to skipbarber_f2000 or something new in the skin app since I'm only racing in three different series this season and the skip is the only one I've seen custom skins other than mine.

I just realized whatever I do to my own skin I can´t get the horrible blackish disc-shaped rims out of my skin. Tried with a clean default .dds for the rim and rim_blur and it got uploaded and it looks alright in my game but on the SRS stream it still shows the black ones.
I guess it is car related, never had any problems like this before.

That's probably just the SRSTV client not re-downloading your skin because the folder is the same age. Copy your folder to the skins directory, delete the original, then rename the new folder to be the correct name and SRSTV will redownload your entire folder, including your new rims.

Thanks for that suggestion, I am gonna give it a try
EDIT: Worked like a charm, thank you!
