Did my first trackday at donington park last week, what an awesome track, was supposed to do national layout but they ran the full track, bit disappointed really as I prefer the national version, although I did enjoy getting it sideways coming out of the two hairpins. Overtook a few faster cars, which is always nice https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qtp5thB5IKs&t=60s
What did you think of donny? Must have been much more space thatn Cadwell.
I'm off there on the bike next Tuesday and can't wait. Only ridden Cadwell so far. Here's a clip of my last time out at Cadwell, borrowing my mate's bike:
Nice vids guys. Yeah donington is much wider than cadwell, there was overtaking both sides at donny, the beginning of the evening was crazy, I don't think there was more than 20 minutes without a red flag, good luck for tuesday.
Donny was good. Probably my new local instead of Cadwell although it's a bit more expensive. I was actually a second quicker my first time at Donington than my best time so far at Cadwell.

Those are the funniest looking cars I've ever seen on Donnington. How do they stay upright!
I love how cycles make that really annoying chicane actually look fun.

The Foggy esses are actually loads of fun. You brake so hard and deep into the left, then open right out on the exit to the right. I remember during the WSBK round there this year they were drifting on the gas (yeah bikes can drift too) out of it towards the Melbourne loop. Just have to watch for a real dip at the inside of the right hander. Actually better to ride over the kerb than hit it really.
Something a bit more relevant to SRS is my trip to Catalunya from September. It's an awesome circuit! The front straight is long enough to almost hit the limiter in 6th (even my 115hp bike was hitting 152mph/245kmh). Then you're braking really hard down 3 gears into the first turn. After that, on a bike at least, you're not upright again until you're back on the front straight. Literally either banked over cornering or on the brakes. Or both. Was such a privelege to get the opportunity to ride it for 3 days.
