Well, I've just read that ACC multiplayer will be exactly the same thing as AC's (just public servers, no official races), so all the stuff about licences that they sold us will be totally pointless.

At first I felt disappointed but maybe this is an opportunity for SRS to add compatibility with this game, and I would love that.

I picked this up back when it was really cheap in Early Access, and my total timed played is sitting at about 88 minutes. I don't see it getting any higher than that unless it approaches my stable enjoyment of AC1+SRS. That post sounded like a bunch of double speak nonsense to me and from scanning the replies to it it looks like it is basically a server browser with a nebulous safety rating.

If there were an ACC SRS plugin, I'd certainly check it out, but come on... it's nothing but GT3 cars except now there's night and rain. Neither of which get me all that excited. Ah well... I've wasted more money on worse games than this before in my life.
