what if I used the external view?
race at Donington
I never saw a driver sitting on a race seat behind and above the car.
Imo, one has to decide if he is a sim racer or a fun racer/gamer. Imo always.
Right hand cars arent tricky, it is just that you are not used to them. In matter of fact on clockwise tracks one should use right hand cars, if available. Most of the turns are richt turns and you hit the appex easier.
About your driving, i cant tell much, i am working on it myself. Use all the track, therefore open the turns as wide as possible, you do that mostly but every inch counts.
Another think to maybe consider: As my mentor, the Great Sir "copycat" Jackie Steward said:
Its not about how late you jump on the brakes, its about how early you are on the throttle". Just another way to say "slow in, fast out". Once one is on the throttle, you dont lift but accelerate. Maybe put markers for the points you actualy start to acclerate?
Thats my 2 cents
C ya on the track
