Need help with the Mini
#3
Recently I got my Fanatec CSL Elite Load Cell pedals, so basically I'm completely re-learning how to drive all over again. The folks that tell you that good pedals are more important than excellent force feedback are not bullshitting... but in order to take advantage of the load cell control, it's a fairly steep learning curve.

The Mini started off as a big problem out of all the series this season for me. Something that I found a long time ago but never bothered to install and set up is an app called Esotic Slip HUD, which can be found here: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads...hud.12143/

Basically it puts an indicator for all 4 tire patches and color codes them based on what they are doing and how they are handling the job you are giving them (braking, turning, accelerating). Mostly I got it to let me know when I was losing lateral grip in real time, but I think it's helped more with braking. You can immediately tell what your tires are doing right when you are doing things to them, and you can stop doing what you are doing before bad things (like spins) happen. It makes setting up Brake Bias to be more even a trivial task, which Luke points out above as the likely reason the Mini is spinning on you.
