PSA: Crashing into cars after finish will give you all incident points. Stop.
#4
As far as avoiding post-race incidents, I find it's easiest to just keep doing the next lap, go around the corner if you have anyone behind you... come to a complete stop as fast as you can and quickly teleport to pits. I have an AutoHotKey macro bound to one of the buttons on my wheel base that hits Esc and clicks Teleport To Pits in the blink of an eye... so I never get rammed after a race. I think there's an AC app that makes teleporting to pits a hotkey that you can bind to something yourself.

As far as if you should care or not? You should care in that you shouldn't cause incidents and ruin other people's fun, whatever that might be, especially since you know post race collisions still count. You should NOT care in that unless you are actually in the contention for a championship or wanting to get to the very top of the driver rating leaderboard, it's just a number.

In other words, follow the rules, but don't flip out when other's do something accidentally that makes your numbers go in a direction you don't like.
