So i guess this is the right place to ask this?
i have trouble finding the templates of modded cars, as their templates are not always in the same folder as Kunos made cars.
So can someone point me in the right direction for this season's cars? is there an external source for them or do i need to just scour the AC installation with a comb?

If they are not included with the car (in the car folder its self) most mods have a link to a template. If not search on race department for a template. Somebody usually has made one.
You can make your own if you have Content Manager. Russell has a great guide covering this.

Specifically the section called "Preparing Your Own Template". That giant wall of text I made is for if you want to go nuts and tackle skinning in Mudbox.
