Hah, I forgot about that video series. I think it's required viewing by everyone trying to race in sims.

Try naming your skin folder paul_stannigel. Isn´t it bigger than 10mb?

Just reminding you guys that incident discussions are forbidden ;-)
I just mention without any context that contact between cars is a regular part of racing *winkwink*

I'm not hip on the rule that NO incident discussions are allowed. In a lot of ways, that's how new sim racers find out what is kosher and what is not. And this looks like a case of "I don't know if I should protest these incidents... are these 'race incidents' or people being jerk bags?" From the video he isn't naming names* either, although I'm guessing it would be pretty easy to figure out who is who if you were in the race. Even more so if custom skins were involved. I know if someone records a video of me borking it up I'll be totally busted.
I think it'd be helpful if the rule specified what kind of incident discussion is and is not allowed, and leeway given to those probing for guidance and not publicly calling out people for being poor drivers and/or sports.
I mean, is what I'm doing right now discussing race incidents? Or the SUBJECT of race incidents? Is my thread featuring the Surviving Rookies video discussing incidents?
*Paul, if you report incidents, you will need to show Driver Names (Ctrl+L in game) in your replay video for it to be valid... so the above video won't do. That said, I'm pretty sure a few of your situations are report-able.

So far, every time I have thought someone might be acting like a "jerk bag", subsequent review of the video or discussion via PM has shown that it was just "one of them racin deals".

That’s pretty much always the case, yes.
In 90% of the times I get hit in lap 1, there isn’t really anyone to blame. Most of the time it’s just a chain reaction of more or less regular incidents.

I agree with this, at least in previous tatuus champ it was the worst quality of drivers i've raced around here...
That is why i am not taking part this time..
And actually, after 4 years of assetto corsa, (public)formula servers indeed keep hosting the worst drivers in general..
