Hi All,
Just downloaded as thought I would give it a go, ready for the new series, but it only works (gear) if you have an actual H-Shifter. I am not fussed about manual blip and clutch , but I never use the H-Shifter (had to set it up just to test).
Is this right, as this is going to confuse a lot of people, not getting out of neutral.
Also there is no data.acd file, so there is potential for people to cheat
Shaun

I don't have an H shifer ?
Anybody know of a work around? Mapping each to to a particular number?

I thought the handling of gear shifting was handled entirely by AC's command structure (i.e. if you were using sequential shifters, it tracked what gear you were in on the front end). If that's not the case then, and car modders can be snooty enough to require particular gear... I don't know what. I guess I could think of a really complicated way to combine PDash and AutoHotkey to hack in the use of a sequential shifters, but the second that it is possible to do something like that as a work around for something that can't actually be policed... it shouldn't have to be enforced.

So can we drive this car if we only have flappy paddles or is it H shifter only?

Tried today and works fine with flappy paddles. Also new version of the car is out.

I must say I've enjoyed the race more than I think I would. That close finish with John Gordon was great.
