Jean Dolmuz over at Sim Enthusiast saw my other videos and was interested in getting his own skin for his Wednesday night races in the Corvette C7R this season, so here's the result:
Check out his reveal video here where he has many kind words to say. Thanks, Jean! He's already got a copy of the skin, obviously, but anyone can download this and use it if you are a fan of his! Find the skin attached!

one of my favorite cars Can you copy that TPC livery from the F4 and put it on the C7R?....Those black tiger stripes would look great on the front half of the hood

Pink/purple corvette?
Hah hah, they can't all be cool skulls and scorpions and stuff. Someone's got to go full lavender!

PM me an official request, and I can add you to the (ever-growing) queue.

Thanks! I have to say that this was certainly the most difficult skin I've had to do. Not because of the design, but because of the UVs. There are dozens of places where edges of panels simply will not paint accurately in Mudbox. I had to do SO MUCH cleanup in Photoshop. Plus, Mudbox crashed a bunch of times, saving 4K textures in Photoshop that Mudbox is watching takes a really long time (like 25 seconds a save!), and for some reason when I exported form Mudbox, it was exporting 4 different PSDs... three of which were empty. WTF?!
I edited out quite a bit of the process since it was me fumbling around between the two applications, otherwise my youtube video would likely have been closer to 20 minutes long. I think for any future C7Rs I'm going to avoid a lot of line work. Advance warning!

Hey guys, Jean here from Sim Enthusiast. Just wanted to say thanks to Russell for the absolutely brilliant paint scheme! Personally, I love the colors!
If you'd like to join in the fun, our first race is tonight at 9:30 PM EST. If you can't make it catch the live stream on twitch or youtube.
Look... I love the purples. But I can't be on the same track in the same car... so I made a few adjustments with my usual color scheme.
See you guys out there in ~30 minutes!
