Are fixed setups available? - Simone Saviolo - 10-19-2020

I've noticed that the fixed setups are not fully saved. If I enter a fixed setup race and save the setup, then I go on to a practice session and load that setup, the car behaves differently, so the setup is not the same. Is it possible to have the "official" setup for download?

The official setup for download is not available. However, it's super easy to make one. Start a session by yourself. Open up the setup interface. Click "Reset to Default". Save that. That's the fixed setup! Well, you still have to figure out Fuel, brake bias, which tires you want to use, and which electronics you want to have enabled. Other than that, you are all set.

If you experience that the car behaves differently in race and in practice, check out also air and track temp, and the grip of the tarmac accordingly, since this has a big impact on the behaviour of the car. In race the track temp is 28° (sometimes 27°). You should vary the air temp in order to let the track temp match to 28°.

And the intial track state is a at around 95% and only gets up to 100% at the end of the qualifying. This costs up to 2 seconds on a regular sized track and makes the cars noticably more twichty.
